You make the difference.

Rocsys relies on your contribution to the product introduction and manufacturing process on technical, process and/or design level. You help deliver new products to market and maintain their manufacturing processes throughout the complete product lifecycle. You contribute to a quality and LEAN-focused culture.

To do this, you

  • Deliver the right quality level, taking an active role in the project/product team where you share responsibility for the manufacturing quality as a whole but focusing on your specific discipline
  • Deliver high quality solutions, including documentation
  • Do research and stay up to date on manufacturing trends
  • Deliver plan and planning for development, keeping a look at the long-term roadmap
  • Deliver contributions to a Quality and LEAN focused culture
  • Educate on a quality mindset by actively using quality tools and audit on others’ contribution
  • Assure safety for people and products in the workshop
  • Take ownership of your personal development

 

Your contribution

  • You lead DFA reviews at R&D and assure progress in the improvement plans
  • You are responsible for the defining, designing, implementation and maintenance phase of tooling at manufacturing, from complex mechatronics to simple torque converters
  • You work together with the Quality Engineer
  • You share the responsibility with the Process Engineer for the designing, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing lines and flows.
  • You perform audits on Tooling quality and compliance to rules and regulations.

 

What you will bring into Rocsys

  • You hold a bachelor (BSc) or master (MSc) degree in or related to Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering.
  • You have a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience with general Supply chain / discrete manufacturing themes
  • You have working experience in a relevant technical field
  • You are familiar with manufacturing processes, materials and quality assurance protocols
  • You are recognized as an expert in the Manufacturing engineering and LEAN functional area
  • You have deep understanding in the field of mechanical or mechatronic engineering
  • You have a hands-on mentality and like to be part of the operational dynamics
  • You can zoom out and understand the value chain, from supplier to customer delivery
  • You have relevant experience in an engineering and technical environment, being part of an international matrix organization

  • You have a high sense of integrity, open communication, and you are self-confident
  • You have a structured way of working, analytical skills and you are a real initiator
  • You are flexible and don't mind traveling to different locations in the Netherlands. Occasionally, you will travel to the United States
  • Your Dutch and English language skills are excellent
  • You have a hands-on mentality and like to be part of the operational dynamics
  • You are self-motivated and able to work independently
