We are looking for a Portland region (OR) Global Head of Sales, who is highly energetic, has and an above-average drive to build a high-performing team and who is intrinsically motivated to accelerate the shift to zero-emission autonomous mobility. Our core markets are ports, logistic distribution centers and robotaxis.

 

Job Description

As a member of the management team you are leading our global sales department of currently 4 seniors in the USA and Europe. You have experience in building and growing an international team and are excited to lead our team across multiple industries. You will travel an average of 4-6 times to Europe on a yearly basis. 

Rocsys is a fast-growing high-tech company with one mission: accelerate the shift to zero-emission autonomous mobility! We do this by providing a platform to enable hands-free charging. 

We are a EU/US venture, headquartered in the Netherlands, and we have a sales, service, application and operations office in Portland, OR, USA. Rocsys was founded in 2019 by experienced entrepreneurs and currently employs over 60 people. Our customers are major global A-brands, and highly-funded autonomous vehicle players. Our growth, especially in the US, is expected to continue in the years to come. 

Job Requirement

  • A strong track record of success in a sales leadership role (min 3 years)
  • University degree
  • Understanding of tech start-up environments: navigating highly dynamic and complex business from an early stage tech company perspective
  • You have successfully built, and led high-performing sales teams in an international environment, ideally in a hardware related business
  • A strong experience in complex sales to large enterprise-type customers where consultative sales approach and strong account management are crucial
  • You possess the ability to prospect and manage senior-level relationships.
  • You are structured, highly goal oriented and possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • You have the ability to merge short-term success and mid-term strategy
  • You show hunger, energy and desire to be successful. You emphasize the importance of ambitious goals and setting high standards for yourself
  • Having worked in the autonomous/electric vehicle domain is a pre

 

You understand the importance of coaching, always following through on development activities and are widely viewed as a strong developer of others. You have a structured and planned approach and expect all sales managers to do so with their customers. 

You will work closely with the CEO and are responsible for developing commercial and business development strategies that are optimized for both short-term results and long-term strategy.  You naturally connect and build strong relationships with a variety of different stakeholders, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. You have the ability to inspire trust in others through charisma, passion in your beliefs and drive. You encourage others to share the spotlight and visibly celebrate and support the success of sales teams.
